Chester Walking Tours

Every day of the year at 10.30am Again at 2pm from Easter to end October Tickets direct from the Guide at the Town Hall Visitor Information Centre on Northgate Street (or just outside if it is closed). £8 adults £7 concessions (retired or in full-time education) £20 families (2 adults and 2 children under 16 years) Tour duration 90 minutes approx.

Grosvenor Museum Chester

Winter Watch Parade

6th December

Thursdays 6 & 13 December Winter Watch Parade Starts from Forum Shopping Centre 7pm. Free. This spectacular event is based on Chester’s 15th-century tradition of ‘Setting the Watch’, when the city leaders handed over the keys of Chester to the City Watch – the early police force – after processing around the city to ensure it was secure.
